Since 2003, Michael Kaye, in partnership with Lochcarron of Scotland, has created stunning tartan evening gowns, which have been showcased in Sir Sean Connery’s Dressed To Kilt, the celebrity fundraiser for Friends of Scotland.

One of Michael Kaye’s tartan gowns is in the Permanent Collection of Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in New York City.

Michael Kaye created a couture tartan gown in the City of Edmonton Tartan and presented it to Mayor Stephen Mandel in January 2007.  The Edmonton Tartan Gown is now permanently part of the Royal Alberta Museum’s Collection.

A gown in the University of Alberta Tartan is part of the Universities costume collection .
